EcoFit had an independent test laboratory, the Advanced Manufacturing Institute, test the performance of their products under a variety of ambient conditions. Download the AMI report, which shows that the DuraStreet Series LED Light Engine maintains TJ —the most critical measure of LED performance and long life—at or below the recommendations published by their LED supplier - Cree.
GAUI’s family of LED fixtures are extremely efficient light sources offering long life, low heat, uniform distribution and significant energy savings over standard incandescent and halogen light sources.
- Reduces energy costs — uses at least 75% less energy than incandescent lighting, saving on operating expenses.
- Reduces maintenance costs — lasts 35 to 50 times longer than incandescent lighting and about 2 to 5 times longer than fluorescent lighting. No bulb-replacements, no ladders, no ongoing disposal program.
- Reduces cooling costs — LEDs produce very little heat.
- Long Life Span — comes with a minimum ten-year warranty — far beyond the industry standard.
- Offers convenient features — available with dimming on some indoor models and automatic daylight shut-off and motion sensors on some outdoor models.
- Is durable — made from plastic and won’t break like a bulb.
Growing both internationally and domestically American Bright maintains the same philosophy of caring and commitment to our customers. With a constant focus on product quality and superior customer service, we offer reliable high quality products for the Optoelectronic and Solid-State-Lighting Markets
GAU is proud to have partnered with American Bright LED as Tier one Distributor.
As every company decides how to revitalize their ability to cut costs, GAU understands that making a bold and progressive move to change from fluorescent lighting to LED lighting can be cumbersome. Recently some of our customers have found inventive ways to make the change to GAU LED commercial lighting more financially possible by providing purchase / leasing /financing options. This new and creative way for building owners and other entities to cover the capital costs of initializing a large project can be conveniently bundled into several options. The savings will be seen through the return on investment. For example, a typical building 100,000-125,000 foot building, having a cost of electricity of $.14 per KWH, the payback is about 2 to 3 years. By going with a lease to own option, your cost could be spread over a 3-6 year period- the end user will never see an increase in operating costs, but has a positive return on the investment in a few years after the initial payback begins. This allows the building owner to never have an added expense and begin saving and upgrade their building to the most energy efficient lighting in the world at the same time.
Did You Know?
If every U.S. household replaced just one standard 60 watt bulb with a GAU LED bulb, we could save 24,184,400,000 watts or 24,184.4 mega (million) watts per day. That would power the city of Atlanta for a year!
What is LED?
LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, a bright, energy-efficient lighting component with no moving or fragile parts. Once used primarily for red on/off electronic device lights, today’s LEDs have evolved into a first class illumination solution for both commercial and residential uses.
Maximum efficiency - LEDs use substantially less power than incandescent or compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs). Replacing existing lighting with LEDs can save between 50% and 90% of lighting energy costs.
Minimum heat - LEDs generate very little heat, transferring power to light instead of heat. Heat from traditional lighting creates a higher load on air conditioning systems, adding to the energy inefficiencies of non-LED lighting. As a comparison, note the surface temperatures of these bulbs.
Minimum impact on humans and the earth - LEDs are 100% recyclable. Unlike fluorescent counterparts and high intensity discharge (HID) technologies, LEDs contain no toxic materials, hazardous mercury, or halogen gases. LEDs emit no ultraviolet (UV) rays or infrared (IR) radiation. Unlike compact fluorescent s, LEDs do not require a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or hazardous waste disposal. Retrofitting to LEDs creates energy efficiencies, reducing our carbon footprint—the impact of human activities regarding the amount of greenhouse gases produced.
Extreme durability, minimum maintenance – LEDs have no filaments or moving parts and can withstand shaking and vibrating without breaking. They do not use ballasts which can fail and become a fire hazard. LEDs work well in hot or cold environments and can withstand moderate power surges. LEDs are not bothered by frequent cycling on or off and can be left on for extended periods without generating much heat.
Maximum lifespan - LEDs last longer than any other type of light bulbs; LEDs may last up to 100,000 hours—11 years of continuous use.
Natural, eye-pleasing spectrum - White and soft white LEDs produce a full-spectrum light closely resembling daylight, illuminating tasks and enhancing work, school, and retail environments. LEDs can provide exceptional directional lighting to enlighten a work area and create a bright, clear light for showcasing.

COST SAVINGS - Typical Office
A typical office using 100 4’ Fluorescent lights will save $15,000.00 in energy costs alone over the life span of an LED lighting solution from GAUI with an LED replacement lights.
When factoring in labor cost reduction, ballast elimination and rebates from the local electric companies, the total savings is just shy of $30,000!!!
COST SAVINGS - Typical Small City
A small to mid-sized city, with 2,800 street lights, could realize an amazing $3.2 Million in annual energy cost savings. But, when those savings are extrapolated over the life of each lamp, the potential rises to a whopping $8.1 Million!!! That’s tax dollars that can better be spent elsewhere!!!
